It's Teacher Appreciation Week and what better week to re-launch our Scotch literacy blog?!?!
After stepping out of the traditional classroom and into the reading specialist position two years ago, I've had the honor of becoming more familiar with the amazing work you do in each of your classrooms and in our school. I'm always humbled and in awe of the heart, hard work, and high expectations you bring to Scotch each day.
I hope you'll take a few moments to watch this video. It captures how I feel about each of you. YOU are our students' champions. An adult who never gives up on them. Who understands the importance of connections.
Thank you for the relationships you build with every one of your students. More than curriculum, textbooks, or test scores, it's those connections that make me proud to be a part of Scotch.
